Hello and welcome! The Victorian Association of Catholic Primary School Principals (VACPSP Inc) in partnership with Catholic Education Office Melbourne (CEOM), Catholic Education Office of Sale, Sandhurst & Ballarat and the Australian Catholic University (ACU) proudly present to you our fourth biennial conference!
As part of our policy to rotate the conference throughout all dioceses, we now move to the diocese of Sandhurst.. We have much to offer each other and our students and our school communities will reap the benefits of our shared learning by coming together and staying together in the comfortable All Seasons Resort in Bendigo.
The theme of the 2015 conference is "Let Go & Grow" - it explores what it means to lead in a contemporary educational setting so that we remain true to our Catholic Identity and the values that we endorse as people of faith. At the same time we believe the Conference will inspire and support us as leaders of Catholic Schools to provide an education for  our students where they are encouraged to  achieve an excellent education regardless of their background or particular circumstances.
Principals and staff of Catholic schools will need new skills and  knowledge and even attitudes if they are to meet the demands and challenges inherent in contemporary learning.  Our Conference aims to support principals to develop shared, visionary and inspirational  leadership and to do so in a culture of creativity and innovative practice.
The objectives  for the "Let Go & Grow" Conference  are :

  • Collegial learning
  • Defining & developing skills and knowledge for contemporary leadership
  • Insight into change management
  • Provide opportunities for professional reflection & dialogue

So, put the date in your diary for you and your leadership teams, to come and experience a Conference designed specifically by your colleagues to not only explore our challenges but also to meet our needs. We are sure that the historical town of Bendigo will be a superb setting for our adventure.
We look forward to seeing you there.
